To build a productive, prosperous, secure, inclusive and globally competitive Lagos where every resident, regardless of background, age, gender, income or location, has a genuine opportunity to live a dignified life, build a livelihood, own a home, raise a family and contribute to the prosperity of the State.
We envision a Lagos where economic growth is measured by better living standards, decent jobs and affordable housing not statistics and a government that does not merely respond to problems, but anticipates them, plans for the future and builds the infrastructure, institutions, accessible healthcare, quality education, safer communities and opportunities that a growing population requires.
To provide citizen centred leadership that transforms Lagos through practical policies, disciplined execution, and responsible management of public resources. We are committed to making Lagos safer, putting citizens at the heart of governance, delivering innovative housing programmes, building the Lagos of tomorrow, and creating opportunities for all to thrive.
We do not claim that every idea we have proposed has already become reality. They are plans developed through proper planning, professional scrutiny, public consultation, financial discipline and measurable implementation. We will not promise perfection. We promise purposeful leadership, honest government and a relentless commitment to turning sound ideas into measurable results.
Professional Journey
Before politics, Ademola Joseph Onigbokun built infrastructure literally. From coordinating safety on London's rail network to founding a housing vision aimed at transforming Nigeria's cities, every chapter has been about creating opportunity through the built environment.
Coordinated safety and construction across major rail refurbishment projects, including St Pancras International and King's Cross Station.
Began developing the vision for an entirely new Nigerian city, built around integrated communities rather than another housing estate.
Pursued a joint venture on roughly 10,000 hectares in Ogun State for one of Nigeria's largest proposed housing developments.
Joined the National Rescue Movement (NRM) and launched this campaign for a better Nigeria, carrying the Nigerian Dream Project's vision into government.
Flagship Initiative
In 2007, while living in the United Kingdom, Ademola Joseph Onigbokun conceived a bold vision that would shape his life's work: to build an entirely new city in Nigeria, not merely another conventional housing estate, but a fully integrated community designed around the needs and aspirations of its people. That vision inspired him to establish Downtown New Homes in the UK and subsequently incorporate Downtown New Homes Nigeria Limited to bring the concept to Nigeria. The Nigerian Dream Project is founded on a simple but transformative idea: a city should be more than houses bringing together quality housing, schools, healthcare, reliable transportation, infrastructure, employment opportunities, commercial activity and community life. creating an environment where families can live, work, learn and prosper within the same ecosystem. This vision represents a new approach to urban development in Nigeria: building communities that create opportunity, dignity and a pathway to prosperity, not simply estates that provide shelter.

The Call To Leadership
Ademola Joseph Onigbokun never set out with the ambition of becoming a politician. For many years, he believed he could contribute to Nigeria’s development from outside government by developing ideas, proposing practical policies, and advocating solutions in areas such as housing, employment, infrastructure, and national security. But as the challenges facing the country continued to deepen, he came to a profound realisation: ideas alone cannot transform a nation unless there are leaders prepared to turn those ideas into action. It was this conviction that ultimately led him into politics, not for the title or privilege of public office, but for the opportunity to help translate bold ideas into meaningful reforms that can improve the lives of ordinary citizen.
He joined the National Rescue Movement (NRM), attracted by its emphasis on reform, humility, national renewal, and the possibility of building a new political culture centred on service to the people. For Ademola Joseph Onigbokun answering the call to leadership is therefore not a departure from the work he had already begun. It is the next step in a journey that began with a vision for a better Nigeria, and a determination to help turn that vision into reality.
"True leadership is measured not by how many people you command, but by how many lives you empower and how many opportunities you create."
— Ademola Joseph OnigbokunMy Development Initiative
Building A State That Works For Everyone.
A Better Lagos Is Possible. These are My Six Pledges to the People of Lagos — six commitments to rescue what is failing, renew what must change, and rebuild Lagos into the state we deserve.
Quality public schools, lower costs for families, better futures.
Safer communities, faster response, better intelligence.
No family should lose a loved one simply because they cannot afford treatment.
Every child born in Lagos should have a stake in the State's future.
Every working person deserves a wage that allows them to live with dignity.
Lagos needs a housing system that works for ordinary people, not only those who can afford the private property market. We will establish a comprehensive state-led social housing programme to deliver 1 million affordable and decent social housing homes for Lagosians.
Flagship Vision
A bold and transformative vision to unlock the full potential of Lagos State, revitalising every community and creating a globally competitive centre for industry, commerce, innovation, infrastructure, and sustainable urban development. One Lagos. One Vision. A world-class state built for prosperity, opportunity, and the future.
A Vision For A Greater Lagos
Lagos has always been the economic heartbeat of Nigeria, our nation's commercial powerhouse and a centre of enterprise, innovation, creativity, and opportunity. Yet, for millions of Lagosians, the promise of the city remains out of reach. At the heart of this vision is the "ọmọ wa ni" Initiative, a people centred development agenda built on a simple principle: government must work for the people, placing the welfare, dignity, security, and prosperity of every Lagosian at the centre of governance.
Infrastructure, Mobility & Economy
Transportation will receive unprecedented attention through an integrated, multimodal network that expands rail connectivity, modernises water transportation, improves road infrastructure, and develops strategic link roads connecting the Mainland, Alimosho, Ikoyi–Victoria Island–Lekki–Epe corridor, and other rapidly growing communities to jobs, markets, education, healthcare, and investment opportunities. Healthcare will be strengthened through modern hospitals and integrated digital health systems, education will be transformed through technology-enabled classrooms and vocational training, and business-friendly policies will position Lagos as Africa's leading destination for innovation, enterprise and investment.

Charity & Social Responsibility
Ademola Joseph Onigbokun has not built his life around a formal charitable foundation. Instead, his commitment to service has been expressed quietly and consistently through personal acts of support for family, friends, colleagues, and members of his community.
An active member of Men of Honour, an organisation committed to promoting service, responsibility, and community development through charitable initiatives carried out throughout the year.
Over the years, he has supported family members, friends, and individuals within his wider community whenever circumstances have allowed. "Leadership begins with compassion, and service begins long before seeking public office."
A proposed initiative focused on identifying practical and sustainable ways to support low income earners, ease household financial pressures, and improve living standards.
